A Giveaway Addicted Mommy Review

Snazzy Baby Travel Chair/Knee Pads Giveaway
When I had Nathan, 2 other family members were having
babies so there were always playpens, swings and high
chairs at every family gathering. No need to travel with half
your house each family gathering. However, this time around
(15 years later) we are the only ones with babies so again
we need a small trailer to carry all the kids stuff to each
event.
Luckily we now have a Snazzy Baby Travel Chair which has
made life so much easier! It can turn an ordinary chair into a
temporary restraint system so you
can feed your child or use it in a
shopping cart instead of using
those (disgusting) simple and not-so-safe straps some come with. We
use it whenever we go to a restaurant or to someone's home & it has
made for some much nicer meals since Jake is safe and secure (aka:
not running all over the place).
I didn't mention how incredibly light the Travel Chair is. At 7 ounces and
super compact, it fits in any diaper bag easily. I have even just thrown it
into my purse and it also has a built in strap so you can just throw it over
you shoulder as well. I was worried that something so light would not
contain my squirmy child but it did a fabulous job. To see it in action

Snazzy Baby also carries Knee Pads for crawlers and early
walkers. While I did not have a chance to review these, they
did receive an iParenting
Media Award (as did the
Travel Chair!). The knee pads
are ergonomically designed for
flexibility and movement
without impacting circulation. Most of our house is covered in
carpet but I know most of my friends homes are either tile or wood
- these would be a must for a little one in those homes.

Momma in Flip Flops 2 Review

Snazzy Baby
My daughter is a stubborn little two year old and when it comes time for shopping, I dread to take her because she won't sit in the cart. She's always trying to escape
and now with two other children I can't always be holding her in. I know I'm not the only one with this problem, which can make shopping a very hard process and grocery shopping has to get done. I was excited to have the opportunity to use the Parenting Media Award Winner, My Baby's Own Deluxe Travel Chair from Snazzy Baby because it was designed not only to fit different types of chairs so you don't have to worry about bringing a highchair or booster wherever you go, but it also secures your child in a shopping cart. I really like it for the shopping cart, its all attached to a pouch so very easy to just toss the 7oz bag in your bag, pulls open easily and secures safely to the cart and then also has side and shoulder straps to keep your baby safe and secure. So far my daughter hasn't figured out how to get out of it and actually thinks it's "fun" since it's something new. Made for children up to 35 pounds and made of nylon and polyester with easy to machine wash. I also like the
feature that it has a non-slip bottom so it doesn't slide at all when put flat on a chair and your child is able to move around a big without actually standing up. Ladies, our problems may be solved and the Travel chair is available in either red or navy!

Snazzy Baby products were invented by an Australian mommy who wants best for baby. She has also developed Knee Pads to help product those little knees when crawling and
learning to walk. Keep them protected and don't let them get all scraped up and raw.
"These knee pads are ergonomically designed to allow for flexibility and movement without impacting circulation. In addition, Snazzy Baby knee pads are endorsed by medical professionals and can be used with children with special needs such as
hemophilia, cerebral palsy, spina bifida and muscular dystrophy." The knee pads are one size fits all (four months to four years) and available in starfish blue, princess pink, seafoam green and midnight blue. Read more about the Snazzy Baby. Busy Mommy Review!

Snazzy Baby® My Baby’s Own Travel Chair
If you’ve ever taken a 1-year old to the restaurant you know that it has the potential to turn into a disaster. All of my kids have been able to easily wiggle out of the straps on restaurant high chairs, which means that they end up sitting in our lap while we try to keep little hands away from hot, messy food. This, of course, makes them angry which starts the screaming and flailing about that makes you wish you’d just stayed home after all. I’ve seen those foldable travel chairs that can be set up at the table, but I don’t like having carry around another bulky item while carrying a baby, diaper bag, purse, and keeping an eye on the other two little boys. So, when I was given the opportunity to try out the Snazzy Baby® My Baby’s Own Travel Chair I jumped on it. I thought to myself, “I can use that!”

Something small enough to carry in the diaper bag, easy to set up and put away, and keeps my baby safely secured when we are out is just what I needed. Convenient for Busy Moms This travel chair folds up into a small pocket on it’s back, so it won’t take up much room in a diaper bag, or you can use the strap to carry it on your shoulder. I prefer to just drop it in the diaper bag, because that’s one less thing to keep from sliding off my shoulder. When you need to use it simple pull it out of the pocket, snap the buckle around the back of a chair (or even a shopping cart!), sit your baby down, and buckle them up. And when you are done, just unbuckle it and fold it back up.Easy and Safe for Baby When I first saw all the buckles involved I thought it would be confusing, but it was surprisingly easy to get my baby all buckled up. There are buckles on each side and buckles over the shoulders. Just snap those together and adjust the straps to fit your baby and you are set! Plus
after the first time it’s easier because you already have the straps set to fit your baby.
Another worry I had was that I wasn’t sure a cloth seat would be able to hold my baby securely in a chair. I was afraid if he wiggled at all he’d fall over, but Snazzy Baby® was a step ahead of me. They make the travel chair with a non-slip bottom so the seat won’t slip around. The straps that hold the seat to a chair can be tightened to fit securely, and I had no problems with my baby wiggling around or falling over. He was snug and safe sitting on one of our dining room chairs. The Snazzy Baby® My Baby’s Own Travel Chair fits children up to 37 lbs and comes in navy or red. I am very happy with how easy and convenient it is to use. It has come in handy at lunchtime in my home because I babysit other toddlers and only have one high chair. Every on-the-go mom needs one of these travel seats!

Snazzy Baby's My Baby's Own Deluxe Travel Chair
Review and Giveaway

Have you ever been in a situation where you did not have a high chair
or booster seat for your little one? There were many times I was out
and about and found myself at places, whether it was a friend's house
or a coffee house and I did not have a place for Chloe to sit, except on
my lap. Chloe is getting to the age where she wants to be more
independent. She wants to be like her big sister, sitting on a big girl
chair. Plus, sitting on my lap does not really work well during feedings. Snazzy Baby has come up with a perfect solution, My Baby's Own Deluxe Travel Chair a portable high chair seat that fits little ones up to 35 pounds.
You are probably familiar with other travel boosters that are "portable", you can take them with you to restaurants, grandma's house or anywhere else you
are on the go. Snazzy Baby's Travel Chair is so much better, because it is ultra-portable!
It is made of material, so it folds up very small and fits right into
the attached bag, weighing less than 7 0z. You can store it in your diaper bag or keep it in the trunk of your car so you will always have it when you need it. I love how easy it is to use, simply buckle the straps around the back of a chair or
shopping cart seat and then secure your child with the side and shoulder straps.
I will never forget the time I was at Target. Chloe was in the shopping cart, I was looking at something for what seemed like 2 seconds, when I turned back to the cart, Chloe was standing on the seat with a look-what-I-can-do-mom! expression on her face. My heart stopped beating and from that day on, until I received Snazzy Baby's Travel Chair, those ickyyucky straps that have probably never been washed, secured my
daughter. I know, I am a nut, I would take spray sanitizer and spray those things down, but I could not risk having her tumble out of the cart! With the travel chair, I now just come home, throw it in the wash and let it line dry. With the travel chair, I no longer have to worry about Chloe's cool and very dangerous shopping cart tricks and she is comfortable while being secure in her seat. I am not the only one who loves Snazzy Baby's My Baby's own Deluxe Travel Chair, it is an iParenting Media Award winner forbest baby gear. You can view the video of the travel chair from

An Island Life Review

Snazzy Baby Travel Chair Giveaway
One of the reasons I prefer not to take my kids out to eat when they’re young is the fact that I can’t stand those high chairs and booster seats that the restaurants provides. Half the time the safety straps are broken or the chair is dirty. Not to mention the germs that are crawling all over them. Yuck!
That’s why I was particularly interested in My Baby’s Own Travel Chair from Snazzy Baby.
COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Your home for the best in innovative baby protection products, Snazzy Baby was created by Australian mom Cyndy Mundy who needed to protect her tot’s tender knees after another day of crawling on thecarpet. The award-winning company has impressed online and brick and mortar retailers with snug, soft,4 layer cushioned oval knee pads made of neoprene and secured with velcro straps and ensuring a comfortable fit. iParenting Media Awards have praised each one of their products as they’ve come to
market.
OUR REVIEW
We received My Baby’s Own Travel Chair to review and I was very
impressed with how compact it is. Everything comes tucked inside an
attached pocket (7″ x 5″) for easy storage and transport. It’s also lightly
padded for comfort, light weight, and made from a nylon-type material for
easy cleaning. Setting it up was easy. I just took the back strap and attached it behind the chair. There are also adjustable shoulder and side straps to keep your child safe, secure, and in place. Kaila is a little too young yet to use this chair since she can’t even hold her head up. So I decided to put Hello Kitty in it just to give you an idea of how the travel chair works. As you can see, HK is pretty secure
in there with the shoulder and side straps secured. However, what I liked best about My Baby’s Own Travel Chair is that when you’re done all you need to do is roll everything up and tuck it inside the attached case. I remember using more bulky high
chair/shopping cart covers with my other daughters and it was always a pain to get everything stored when it was time to leave. I would end up just throwing the whole thing into the car and vowed to pack it up properly later. Of course, I never did. In addition, with all the other baby gear that I need to tote along the last thing I
need is more bulk. So, if you’re worried about germs, safety, and portability when dining or shopping with your child, you owe it to yourself to check out My Baby’s Own Travel Chair. It sells for $34.95 from Snazzy Baby.

A travel seat for babies.
It's been a while since I've traveled with babies, but I well
remember the hassle of hanging out in a restaurant that didn't
have a high chair. It can be kind of a headache, no?

The Mom's Deluxe 3-in-1 Plus Combo Carrier actually grows with the baby, so
parents or caregivers can use the same carrier from 4 months old until 3 years. The
carrier even works as a temporary child restraint in chairs and shopping carts.
I had the opportunity to review the Snazzy baby 3-in-1 Carrier from Snazzy baby! It is a 3-in-1 carrier that is a must-have item for any parent. We were able to try it out over the last week when we went shopping, out to dinner, and even over at grandma’s house. The first feature we used was the high chair restraint. It is very simple to use and held our little 14 month old on his chair while we enjoyed our
dinner out. I love that the size is small so I can throw it in the diaper bag and alwayshave it with me if I need it. After dinner we headed out to the grocery store and wewere able to secure our little one in the cart. I love that it gives mom the assurancethat baby is safely secured and can’t fall out of the cart. Not to mention how muchhe loved sitting in the cart feeling like a big boy in the snazzy baby. I loved that I don’t have to remove him from the carrier to put him in the cart etc. I love this feature. Unfortunately we weren’t able to try the breastfeeding option as he is long past those days. But it will be great for our next baby. But I did see how nicely it could be used throughout all of our activities. I love the fact that I will be able to use it for him clear up until he is 3 years old. No need to buy different carriers for his age. I have it all in one now! Dad even tried it out at Grandma’s house carrying him around the house. He giggled and thought it was a ride. It is very sturdy and seems to be very heavily enforced so you know it will last a long time. Thanks Snazzy baby for the great carrier. We love it!
Another feature of the Combo Carrier is that it can be used as a restraint
system on chairs in your home or when you travel. It can also be used in
shopping carts as a child restraint. A mom or dad on-the-go can take baby
from a position on the body, to sitting in a shopping cart, and then back to a
baby wearing position, all with a few simple adjustments that are easily
performed by one person. Easy color-coded clips make adjustments a
breeze. We highly recommend the Snazzy baby carrier. It is such a great item to
have on hand because of it’s multi-purpose uses and it’s ability to grow with
your baby.

Favorite Things Friday: A Chair, A Dish and Some Trading

It’s Friday, which means it’s Favorite Things day: My opportunity to share some of
my latest Web finds with all of you.(And yes, my readership is actually growing!)
This week it is all about keeping it green. Keira is my very active baby. (A fellow blogger and friend told me not to write what I usually call her since some day she will be able to read.) Anyway, keeping her seated
in a highchair or booster is next-to-impossible, which is why I was very interested in My Baby’s Own Travel Chair. Sure, I am excited that, unlike those big plastic takealong chairs, it’s made out of a fabric that’s free of azo dyes, phthalates or Bisphenol-A, and it’s formaldehyde free. However, I am just as excited that it looks like it will keep her from escaping. (And I’ll actually get to eat a meal.)

Baby Luxe Reviews Snazzy Baby Travel Chair

Snazzy Baby
Have you ever gotten so frustrated with those straps on the grocery cart to hold the baby in, that you just wanted to scream? I have!! 90% of the time when I go grocery shopping I have my little guy with me. Its always such a pain, I strap him in, but then he is sliding all over the place, and most of the time trying to bite the bar across the cart, gross germs~! The day I got my Snazzy Baby Travel Chair sample in the mail, I went to the store. Oh my goodness, talk about the most fantastic thing ever!! It so easy to to use, and assembles in seconds. I just put it on the shopping cart seat, secured the support belt through the back of the cart, and fastened the clips. Then simply put my baby in, and clipped him in. I love the fact that it
has secure shoulder straps, this prevents him from being able to put his head down and put his mouth on the cart. It’s so easy to use, keeps him upright, comfy and eliminates the use of dirty shopping cart straps. Check out this snazzy baby video to see how quick and easy this is to use. Not only can the Snazzy Baby Travel Chair be used in the shopping cart, but can also be used as a support on a chair. This is so great when going out to eat, visiting family and friends, and traveling. It attaches to the chair in seconds. I had a friend and her daughter visiting last weekend, and when both kids needed to eat at the same time, we put her baby in
the high chair, and put my little guy in the Snazzy Baby Travel Chair to feed. So easy!!! Instead of having to go to a restaurant and use one of their germy booster seats, we can just bring this instead. Its so light weight and compact only 7 ounces. Simply just carry over your shoulder with the strap, or fits right into your purse or diaper bag without taking up hardly any room. So much easier then lugging a heavy booster seat around. I love my Snazzy Baby Travel Chair, and will get so much use out of it. You can use it from the time your baby can sit up unsupported all the way until they are 35 pounds.

YOUR MAMA LOVES - Knee pads for Babies

Your Mama Loves Knee Pads for Babies
I know what you’re thinking. Knee pads for babies? Seriously?
That’s what I thought when I was pregnant with my first son and saw an ad
for baby knee pads. I thought about how parents are overprotective and
how safety products are oftentimes just geared toward taking advantage of
parents’ fears. Then I took my crawling baby to a playground and saw his
knees turn bright pink. It made me crazy. I’d take him to the park in
sweatpants even when it was hot outside.
This year, a splash park opened in town. I took my second son to play there, and he
ended up with two skinned knees. Luckily, the week after that Snazzy Baby offered a free pair of baby Knee Pads for us to try out. The timing couldn’t have been better. I’d been putting the baby in thick sweatpants to crawl through the concrete splash park. He looked like a total spaz.
With the Snazzy Baby knee pads, he was able to play in a normal bathing suit.
Pros
• The knee pads stayed on.
• Did not impede his movement.
• Did not constrict his legs in any way. (I found his particularly impressive. Before they arrived, my mom was adamant that there was no way the knee pads would a actually stay on his legs.)
• Cute colors!
• Easy to get on and off.
Cons
• You probably won’t use them for more than a few months.
While the knee pads aren’t necessary for use at home, they’re invaluable when it comes to taking an adventurous crawling baby outdoors onto surfaces like concrete. While babies lift their hands and place them down easily, they tend to drag their knees. The knee pads solve the scraped/raw knee issue without having to resort to bulky clothes.

Snazzy Baby has totally changed my mind about baby knee pads. Sure, they look kind of silly. But they gave my adventurous crazy baby the chance to keep up with the walking children around him. While we only used them for about two months, we got lots of use out of them. I’d definitely invest in these if you plan on taking your crawling child out. (I noticed we were out much more often with our second child, probably because we were often taking his older brother to playgrounds and the splash park.)
Right now, our affiliate Amazon.com has Snazzy Baby knee pads for under $12. For the
quality of these Knee Pads (and the staying-on-power) this is a great deal.

Snazzy Baby A WINNER!

Snazzy Baby Combo Carrier
3 in 1…if anything has “3 in 1″ in the product title or description, it’s a must have!! How many times have I said in the past the versatility is key…well… it is!! Especially when it comes to babies and children. If a product only has one purpose, it won’t last long in our house! Snazzy Baby is a company that thrives on versatility; they understand the modern parent needs more these days, that we need innovation, we need style, we need “all-in-one”, yet we need safety, user friendliness, and affordability as well…all those features can be found at Snazzy Baby! Let’s meet their newest US product, the Snazzy Baby Combo Carrier.

Last year, Julie introduced you to the Snazzy Baby Deluxe Chair that she adores {read her editorial on it here}! Let’s go beyond the “chair” and add a carrier as well! The Combo Carrier is not only a fabulous baby wearing carrier for infants ages 4 months on up to toddlers {facing in or out}, it can also be used for extra security in a shopping cart AND a portable high chair to be used anywhere a chair is available!

My youngest is 19 months and a terror on his feet. That being said, I still need to “baby wear” him on certain occasions {“certain occasions” translates to “anywhere public”}. Traditional slings and wraps put a weight limit on baby wearing, or if they don’t, it’s just not comfortable or impossible. The Snazzy Baby Combo Carrier conveniently puts little Aidan in a “hip” wearing position, comfortable for us both and he’s still able to see all the action around him. I throw my phone and my small wallet in the front pocket of the carrier and we’re good to go, no purse needed!

One of the features I love most {which I have not tried of course since I’m no longer breast feeding}, is that the combo carrier is flexible and convenient enough to breast feed an inward facing baby without taking him/her out of the carrier. That would have come in SOOOO handy on several occasions. I use to sweat my tail off taking the boys in and out of their carriers, feeding them, and trying to shove their small sleeping bodies back in after. OH, and each Combo Carrier purchase comes with a FREE pair of Snazzy Baby Leg Warmers, perfect for this weather {it was 20 degrees this morning in Charlotte, NC…TWENTY DEGREES!!! Can you believe that!}.

Snazzy Baby 3-in-1 Baby Carrier review and GIVEAWAY
February 9, 2010 198 comments

Snazzy Baby 3-in-1 baby carrier is the newest innovation in baby-wearing. More than just a carrier this particular item also works as a portable child seat in place of high chairs and a restraint for shopping carts. One key positive point is there is no need to remove your child from the harness to be able to switch function. It’s ‘click and go” system makes the transition smooth and comfortable for baby.

I’ve worn all 3 of our kids and have used all sorts of styles of carriers. The Snazzy Baby 3-in-1 baby carrier is unique, something I’ve never seen before. It’s made for children ages 4 months to 3 years old. I tested it out with Shae while she is under the recommended max weight. She thought it was hysterical to be facing out. She shook her body and kicked her legs and she wasn’t going anywhere unless she leaned too far forward, there was a good chance she was going to fall out. I believe this has a lot to do with her height. I know she is under the weight limit but her dangling legs got in the way of my own walking.

I like that the child sits off to the side rather right in front. This position gives mom and dad the ability to sit and push a cart or stroller or drink a cup of coffee without fear of hurting, bumping or spilling on babies’ head. I look forward to testing this out on my nieces very soon. They are almost at the right age where the head and neck control is needed for outward facing carriers. Something else that is a great feature for moms is the ability to breastfeed while never having to remove baby from carrier.

The “Click and Go” restraint system takes some getting used to but that goes with any new baby gear. The clips are color coded and the included instructional DVD shows you where to guide the straps and how it should wrap around yours and baby’s body. The ergonomic and lightweight design makes the Snazzy Baby Deluxe 3-in-1 Combo Carrier is perfect for moms and dads and being a winner of the prestigious iParenting Award for “outstanding Product of 2009” you can trust that other moms and dads have also said so.
