Weighing in at less than 1 pound, the Snazzy Baby Travel Chair has been awarded the Most Portable Travel Chair by Trekaroo. It also fits into any diaper bag!!! Woo Woo! No need to travel with half
your house each family gathering. However, this time around
(15 years later) we are the only ones with babies so again
we need a small trailer to carry all the kids stuff to each
event. <img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 96px; height: 72px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_FfJTpsg9TA8/S4rC6jP1L7I/AAAAAAAAAEk/E1S6KxJH_TI/s320/travel-chair-red-thumb.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5443377410780508082" />
Luckily we now have a Snazzy Baby Travel Chair which has
made life so much easier! It can turn an ordinary chair into a
temporary restraint system so you
can feed your child or use it in a
shopping cart instead of using
those (disgusting) simple and not-so-safe straps some come with. We
use it whenever we go to a restaurant or to someone's home & it has
made for some much nicer meals since Jake is safe and secure (aka:
not running all over the place).
I didn't mention how incredibly light the Travel Chair is. At 7 ounces and
super compact, it fits in any diaper bag easily. I have even just thrown it
into my purse and it also has a built in strap so you can just throw it over
you shoulder as well. I was worried that something so light would not
contain my squirmy child but it did a fabulous job. To see it in action
Watch TDmonthly Video .
Snazzy Baby also carries Knee Pads for crawlers and early
walkers. While I did not have a chance to review these, they
did receive an iParenting
Media Award (as did the
Travel Chair!). The knee pads
are ergonomically designed for
flexibility and movement
without impacting circulation. Most of our house is covered in
carpet but I know most of my friends homes are either tile or wood
- these would be a must for a little one in those homes.
BUY IT!: Knee Pads ARV: $19.99 & Travel Chair ARV: $34.99 and
you can purchase all the Snazzy Baby Products on their website,
www.snazzybaby.us

Momma in Flip Flops 2 Review

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 293px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_FfJTpsg9TA8/S4rCKxAjsRI/AAAAAAAAAEU/tz1tm0DMPAY/s320/travel-chair-4-low.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5443376589840822546" />
Snazzy Baby
My daughter is a stubborn little two year old and when it comes time for shopping, I dread to take her because she won't sit in the cart. She's always trying to escape
and now with two other children I can't always be holding her in. I know I'm not the only one with this problem, which can make shopping a very hard process and grocery shopping has to get done. I was excited to have the opportunity to use the Parenting Media Award Winner, My Baby's Own Deluxe Travel Chair from Snazzy Baby because it was designed not only to fit different types of chairs so you don't have to worry about bringing a highchair or booster wherever you go, but it also secures your child in a shopping cart. I really like it for the shopping cart, its all attached to a pouch so very easy to just toss the 7oz bag in your bag, pulls open easily and secures safely to the cart and then also has side and shoulder straps to keep your baby safe and secure. So far my daughter hasn't figured out how to get out of it and actually thinks it's "fun" since it's something new. Made for children up to 35 pounds and made of nylon and polyester with easy to machine wash. I also like the
feature that it has a non-slip bottom so it doesn't slide at all when put flat on a chair and your child is able to move around a big without actually standing up. Ladies, our problems may be solved and the Travel chair is available in either red or navy!

Snazzy Baby products were invented by an Australian mommy who wants best for baby. She has also developed Knee Pads to help product those little knees when crawling and
learning to walk. Keep them protected and don't let them get all scraped up and raw.
"These knee pads are ergonomically designed to allow for flexibility and movement without impacting circulation. In addition, Snazzy Baby knee pads are endorsed by medical professionals and can be used with children with special needs such as
hemophilia, cerebral palsy, spina bifida and muscular dystrophy." The knee pads are one size fits all (four months to four years) and available in starfish blue, princess pink, seafoam green and midnight blue. Read more about the Snazzy Baby. All of my kids have been able to easily wiggle out of the straps on restaurant high chairs, which means that they end up sitting in our lap while we try to keep little hands away from hot, messy food. This, of course, makes them angry which starts the screaming and flailing about that makes you wish you’d just stayed home after all. I’ve seen those foldable travel chairs that can be set up at the table, but I don’t like having carry around another bulky item while carrying a baby, diaper bag, purse, and keeping an eye on the other two little boys. So, when I was given the opportunity to try out the Snazzy Baby® My Baby’s Own Travel Chair I jumped on it. I thought to myself, “I can use that!”

Something small enough to carry in the diaper bag, easy to set up and put away, and keeps my baby safely secured when we are out is just what I needed. Convenient for Busy Moms This travel chair folds up into a small pocket on it’s back, so it won’t take up much room in a diaper bag, or you can use the strap to carry it on your shoulder. I prefer to just drop it in the diaper bag, because that’s one less thing to keep from sliding off my shoulder. When you need to use it simple pull it out of the pocket, snap the buckle around the back of a chair (or even a shopping cart!), sit your baby down, and buckle them up. And when you are done, just unbuckle it and fold it back up.Easy and Safe for Baby When I first saw all the buckles involved I thought it would be confusing, but it was surprisingly easy to get my baby all buckled up. There are buckles on each side and buckles over the shoulders. Just snap those together and adjust the straps to fit your baby and you are set! Plus
after the first time it’s easier because you already have the straps set to fit your baby.
Another worry I had was that I wasn’t sure a cloth seat would be able to hold my baby securely in a chair. I was afraid if he wiggled at all he’d fall over, but Snazzy Baby® was a step ahead of me. They make the travel chair with a non-slip bottom so the seat won’t slip around. The straps that hold the seat to a chair can be tightened to fit securely, and I had no problems with my baby wiggling around or falling over. He was snug and safe sitting on one of our dining room chairs. The Snazzy Baby® My Baby’s Own Travel Chair fits children up to 37 lbs and comes in navy or red. I am very happy with how easy and convenient it is to use. It has come in handy at lunchtime in my home because I babysit other toddlers and only have one high chair. Every on-the-go mom needs one of these travel seats!

Flying Giggles Review

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 96px; height: 78px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_FfJTpsg9TA8/S4q9zkGBqhI/AAAAAAAAAD8/HVLhboQmx20/s320/travel-chair-sienna-thumb.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5443371793190595090" />
Snazzy Baby's My Baby's Own Deluxe Travel Chair
Review and Giveaway
Have you ever been in a situation where you did not have a high chair
or booster seat for your little one? There were many times I was out
and about and found myself at places, whether it was a friend's house
or a coffee house and I did not have a place for Chloe to sit, except on
my lap. Chloe is getting to the age where she wants to be more
independent. She wants to be like her big sister, sitting on a big girl
chair. Plus, sitting on my lap does not really work well during feedings. Snazzy Baby has come up with a perfect solution, My Baby's Own Deluxe Travel Chair a portable high chair seat that fits little ones up to 35 pounds.
You are probably familiar with other travel boosters that are "portable", you can take them with you to restaurants, grandma's house or anywhere else you
are on the go. Snazzy Baby's Travel Chair is so much better, because it is ultra-portable!
It is made of material, so it folds up very small and fits right into
the attached bag, weighing less than 7 0z. You can store it in your diaper bag or keep it in the trunk of your car so you will always have it when you need it. I love how easy it is to use,simply buckle the straps around the back of a chair or
shopping cart seat and then secure your child with the side and shoulder straps.
I will never forget the time I was at Target. Chloe was in the shopping cart, I was looking at something for what seemed like 2 seconds, when I turned back to the cart, Chloe was standing on the seat with a look-what-I-can-do-mom! expression on her face. My heart stopped beating and from that day on, until I received Snazzy Baby's Travel Chair, those ickyyucky straps that have probably never been washed, secured my
daughter. I know, I am a nut, I would take spray sanitizer and spray those things down, but I could not risk having her tumble out of the cart! With the travel chair, I now just come home, throw it in the wash and let it line dry. With the travel chair, I no longer have to worry about Chloe's cool and very dangerous shopping cart tricks and she is comfortable while being secure in her seat. I am not the only one who loves Snazzy Baby's My Baby's own Deluxe Travel Chair, it is an iParenting Media Award winner forbest baby gear. You can view the video of the travel chair from
the ABC expo:Watch TDmonthly Video Buy It! You can purchase Snazzy Baby's My Own Travel Chair at Snazzy Baby's website for $34.99 or you can purchase it through Amazon.

An Island Life Review

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 293px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_FfJTpsg9TA8/S4q8Rdar8dI/AAAAAAAAAD0/CB7AA7Uv0E8/s320/travel-chair-4-high.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5443370107771023826" />
Snazzy Baby Travel Chair Giveaway
One of the reasons I prefer not to take my kids out to eat when they’re young is the fact that I can’t stand those high chairs and booster seats that the restaurants provides. Half the time the safety straps are broken or the chair is dirty. Not to mention the germs that are crawling all over them. Yuck!
That’s why I was particularly interested in My Baby’s Own Travel Chair from Snazzy Baby.
COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Your home for the best in innovative baby protection products, Snazzy Baby was created by Australian mom Cyndy Mundy who needed to protect her tot’s tender knees after another day of crawling on thecarpet. The award-winning company has impressed online and brick and mortar retailers with snug, soft,4 layer cushioned oval knee pads made of neoprene and secured with velcro straps and ensuring a comfortable fit. iParenting Media Awards have praised each one of their products as they’ve come to
market.
OUR REVIEW
We received My Baby’s Own Travel Chair to review and I was very
impressed with how compact it is. Everything comes tucked inside an
attached pocket (7″ x 5″) for easy storage and transport. It’s also lightly
padded for comfort, light weight, and made from a nylon-type material for
easy cleaning. Setting it up was easy. I just took the back strap and attached it behind the chair. There are also adjustable shoulder and side straps to keep your child safe, secure, and in place. Kaila is a little too young yet to use this chair since she can’t even hold her head up. So I decided to put Hello Kitty in it just to give you an idea of how the travel chair works. As you can see, HK is pretty secure
in there with the shoulder and side straps secured.However, what I liked best about My Baby’s Own Travel Chair is that when you’re done all you need to do is roll everything up and tuck it inside the attached case. I remember using more bulky high
chair/shopping cart covers with my other daughters and it was always a pain to get everything stored when it was time to leave. I would end up just throwing the whole thing into the car and vowed to pack it up properly later. Of course, I never did. In addition, with all the other baby gear that I need to tote along the last thing I
need is more bulk. So, if you’re worried about germs, safety, and portability when dining or shopping with your child, you owe it to yourself to check out My Baby’s Own Travel Chair. It sells for $34.95 from Snazzy Baby.

Petit Elfant Reviews the Travel Chair

A travel seat for babies.
It's been a while since I've traveled with babies, but I well
remember the hassle of hanging out in a restaurant that didn't
have a high chair. We love products which simplify everyday life
and allow parents to enjoy every minute of their lives with their baby, doing
the things they want to do while ensuring their baby is protected when
using our products.
Your home for the best in innovative baby protection products, Snazzy
Baby was created by Australian mom Cyndy Mundy who needed to
protect her tot’s tender knees after another day of crawling on the
carpet. All products submitted by Snazzy Baby to iParenting
Media have won their prestigious iParenting Media Award and praise.
The Mom's Deluxe 3-in-1 Plus Combo Carrier actually grows with the baby, so
parents or caregivers can use the same carrier from 4 months old until 3 years. The
carrier even works as a temporary child restraint in chairs and shopping carts.
<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 245px; height: 320px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_FfJTpsg9TA8/S4q5HfK-IuI/AAAAAAAAADk/cRRj0CN0e9w/s320/A+combo+shopping+cart.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5443366637908402914" />I had the opportunity to review the Snazzy baby 3-in-1 Carrier from Snazzy baby! It is a 3-in-1 carrier that is a must-have item for any parent. We were able to try it out over the last week when we went shopping, out to dinner, and even over at grandma’s house. The first feature we used was the high chair restraint. It is very simple to use and held our little 14 month old on his chair while we enjoyed our
dinner out. I love that the size is small so I can throw it in the diaper bag and alwayshave it with me if I need it. After dinner we headed out to the grocery store and wewere able to secure our little one in the cart. I love that it gives mom the assurancethat baby is safely secured and can’t fall out of the cart. Not to mention how muchhe loved sitting in the cart feeling like a big boy in the snazzy baby. I loved that I don’t have to remove him from the carrier to put him in the cart etc. I love this feature. Unfortunately we weren’t able to try the breastfeeding option as he is long past those days. But it will be great for our next baby. But I did see how nicely it could be used throughout all of our activities. I love the fact that I will be able to use it for him clear up until he is 3 years old. No need to buy different carriers for his age. I have it all in one now! Dad even tried it out at Grandma’s house carrying him around the house. He giggled and thought it was a ride. It is very sturdy and seems to be very heavily enforced so you know it will last a long time. Thanks Snazzy baby for the great carrier. We love it!
Another feature of the Combo Carrier is that it can be used as a restraint
system on chairs in your home or when you travel. It can also be used in
shopping carts as a child restraint. A mom or dad on-the-go can take baby
from a position on the body, to sitting in a shopping cart, and then back to a
baby wearing position, all with a few simple adjustments that are easily
performed by one person. Easy color-coded clips make adjustments a
breeze. We highly recommend the Snazzy baby carrier. It is such a great item to
have on hand because of it’s multi-purpose uses and it’s ability to grow with
your baby.
Head over to Snazzy baby and check out all of their great items for baby!
Purchase your own Snazzy baby 3-in-1 carrier today!

NATURAL AS POSSIBLE MOM

Favorite Things Friday: A Chair, A Dish and Some Trading

It’s Friday, which means it’s Favorite Things day: My opportunity to share some of
my latest Web finds with all of you.(And yes, my readership is actually growing!)
 This week it is all about keeping it green. Keira is my very active baby. (A fellow blogger and friend told me not to write what I usually call her since some day she will be able to read.) Anyway, keeping her seated
in a highchair or booster is next-to-impossible, which is why I was very interested in My Baby’s Own Travel Chair. Sure, I am excited that, unlike those big plastic takealong chairs, it’s made out of a fabric that’s free of azo dyes, phthalates or Bisphenol-A, and it’s formaldehyde free. However, I am just as excited that it looks like it will keep her from escaping. (And I’ll actually get to eat a meal.)

Baby Luxe Reviews Snazzy Baby Travel Chair

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 293px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_FfJTpsg9TA8/S4q1RG1aqhI/AAAAAAAAADU/4-hZFkiMtfo/s320/travel-chair-4-low.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5443362405127727634" />
Snazzy Baby
Have you ever gotten so frustrated with those straps on the grocery cart to hold the baby in, that you just wanted to scream? I have!! 90% of the time when I go grocery shopping I have my little guy with me. Its always such a pain, I strap him in, but then he is sliding all over the place, and most of the time trying to bite the bar across the cart, gross germs~! The day I got my Snazzy Baby Travel Chair sample in the mail, I went to the store. Oh my goodness,talk about the most fantastic thing ever!! It so easy to to use, and assembles in seconds. I just put it on the shopping cart seat, secured the support belt through the back of the cart,and fastened the clips. Then simply put my baby in, and clipped him in. I love the fact that it
has secure shoulder straps, this prevents him from being able to put his head down and put his mouth on the cart. It’s so easy to use, keeps him upright, comfy and eliminates the use of dirty shopping cart straps. Check out this snazzy baby video to see how quick and easy this is to use. Not only can the Snazzy Baby Travel Chair be used in the shopping cart, but can also be used as a support on a chair. This is so great when going out to eat, visiting family and friends, and traveling. It attaches to the chair in seconds. I had a friend and her daughter visiting last weekend, and when both kids needed to eat at the same time, we put her baby in
the high chair, and put my little guy in the Snazzy Baby Travel Chair to feed. So easy!!! Instead of having to go to a restaurant and use one of their germy booster seats, we can just bring this instead. Its so light weight and compact only 7 ounces. Simply just carry over your shoulder with the strap, or fits right into your purse or diaper bag without taking up hardly any room. So much easier then lugging a heavy booster seat around. I love my Snazzy Baby Travel Chair, and will get so much use out of it. You can use it from the time your baby can sit up unsupported all the way until they are 35 pounds.
Check out all the other great award winning products from Snazzy Baby. Knee pads for babies? Seriously?
That’s what I thought when I was pregnant with my first son and saw an ad
for baby knee pads. I thought about how parents are overprotective and
how safety products are oftentimes just geared toward taking advantage of
parents’ fears. Then I took my crawling baby to a playground and saw his
knees turn bright pink. It made me crazy. I’d take him to the park in
sweatpants even when it was hot outside.
This year, a splash park opened in town. I took my second son to play there, and he
ended up with two skinned knees. Luckily, the week after that Snazzy Baby offered a free pair of baby Knee Pads for us to try out. The timing couldn’t have been better. I’d been putting the baby in thick sweatpants to crawl through the concrete splash park. He looked like a total spaz.
With the Snazzy Baby knee pads, he was able to play in a normal bathing suit.
Pros
• The knee pads stayed on.
• Did not impede his movement.
• Did not constrict his legs in any way. (I found his particularly impressive. Before they arrived, my mom was adamant that there was no way the knee pads would a actually stay on his legs.)
• Cute colors!
• Easy to get on and off.
Cons
• You probably won’t use them for more than a few months.
While the knee pads aren’t necessary for use at home, they’re invaluable when it comes to taking an adventurous crawling baby outdoors onto surfaces like concrete. While babies lift their hands and place them down easily, they tend to drag their knees. The knee pads solve the scraped/raw knee issue without having to resort to bulky clothes.

Snazzy Baby has totally changed my mind about baby knee pads. Sure, they look kind of silly. But they gave my adventurous crazy baby the chance to keep up with the walking children around him. While we only used them for about two months, we got lots of use out of them. I’d definitely invest in these if you plan on taking your crawling child out. (I noticed we were out much more often with our second child, probably because we were often taking his older brother to playgrounds and the splash park.)
Right now, our affiliate Amazon.com has Snazzy Baby knee pads for under $12. For the
quality of these Knee Pads (and the staying-on-power) this is a great deal.

Snazzy Baby A WINNER!

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 313px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_FfJTpsg9TA8/S4qtv8XYZNI/AAAAAAAAACk/-fWPl5L5lzk/s320/ava-3-low.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5443354138800317650" />
Snazzy Baby Combo Carrier
3 in 1…if anything has “3 in 1″ in the product title or description, it’s a must have!! How many times have I said in the past the versatility is key…well… it is!! Especially when it comes to babies and children. If a product only has one purpose, it won’t last long in our house! Snazzy Baby is a company that thrives on versatility; they understand the modern parent needs more these days, that we need innovation, we need style, we need “all-in-one”, yet we need safety, user friendliness, and affordability as well…all those features can be found at Snazzy Baby! Let’s meet their newest US product, the Snazzy Baby Combo Carrier.

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 245px; height: 320px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_FfJTpsg9TA8/S4qt6Y56WOI/AAAAAAAAACs/Lm6afy2Ysa8/s320/A+combo+shopping+cart.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5443354318260033762" />

Last year, Julie introduced you to the Snazzy Baby Deluxe Chair that she adores {read her editorial on it here}! Let’s go beyond the “chair” and add a carrier as well! The Combo Carrier is not only a fabulous baby wearing carrier for infants ages 4 months on up to toddlers {facing in or out}, it can also be used for extra security in a shopping cart AND a portable high chair to be used anywhere a chair is available!

My youngest is 19 months and a terror on his feet. That being said, I still need to “baby wear” him on certain occasions {“certain occasions” translates to “anywhere public”}. Traditional slings and wraps put a weight limit on baby wearing, or if they don’t, it’s just not comfortable or impossible. The Snazzy Baby Combo Carrier conveniently puts little Aidan in a “hip” wearing position, comfortable for us both and he’s still able to see all the action around him. I throw my phone and my small wallet in the front pocket of the carrier and we’re good to go, no purse needed!

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 247px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_FfJTpsg9TA8/S4quIB0qFsI/AAAAAAAAAC0/XlYIhgKxvqM/s320/a+legwarmers+with+both.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5443354552582149826" />

One of the features I love most {which I have not tried of course since I’m no longer breast feeding}, is that the combo carrier is flexible and convenient enough to breast feed an inward facing baby without taking him/her out of the carrier. That would have come in SOOOO handy on several occasions. I use to sweat my tail off taking the boys in and out of their carriers, feeding them, and trying to shove their small sleeping bodies back in after. OH, and each Combo Carrier purchase comes with a FREE pair of Snazzy Baby Leg Warmers, perfect for this weather {it was 20 degrees this morning in Charlotte, NC…TWENTY DEGREES!!! More than just a carrier this particular item also works as a portable child seat in place of high chairs and a restraint for shopping carts. One key positive point is there is no need to remove your child from the harness to be able to switch function. It’s ‘click and go” system makes the transition smooth and comfortable for baby.

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 178px; height: 200px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_FfJTpsg9TA8/S4qpJyMHzdI/AAAAAAAAACU/HQMhB43ZI6M/s200/ava-6-low.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5443349085187198418" />
I’ve worn all 3 of our kids and have used all sorts of styles of carriers. The Snazzy Baby 3-in-1 baby carrier is unique, something I’ve never seen before. It’s made for children ages 4 months to 3 years old. I tested it out with Shae while she is under the recommended max weight. She thought it was hysterical to be facing out. She shook her body and kicked her legs and she wasn’t going anywhere unless she leaned too far forward, there was a good chance she was going to fall out. I believe this has a lot to do with her height. I know she is under the weight limit but her dangling legs got in the way of my own walking.

I like that the child sits off to the side rather right in front. This position gives mom and dad the ability to sit and push a cart or stroller or drink a cup of coffee without fear of hurting, bumping or spilling on babies’ head. I look forward to testing this out on my nieces very soon. They are almost at the right age where the head and neck control is needed for outward facing carriers. Something else that is a great feature for moms is the ability to breastfeed while never having to remove baby from carrier.

The “Click and Go” restraint system takes some getting used to but that goes with any new baby gear. The clips are color coded and the included instructional DVD shows you where to guide the straps and how it should wrap around yours and baby’s body. The ergonomic and lightweight design makes the Snazzy Baby Deluxe 3-in-1 Combo Carrier is perfect for moms and dads and being a winner of the prestigious iParenting Award for “outstanding Product of 2009” you can trust that other moms and dads have also said so.

Dirty Shopping Carts - no more worry....

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_FfJTpsg9TA8/SwBKk4tztnI/AAAAAAAAAB8/ZUXJjcxYggY/s320/travel-chair-6-low.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5404401550404859506" />
Snazzy Baby{GIVEAWAY}

Oh my goodness, talk about the most fantastic thing ever!! It so easy to to use, and assembles in seconds. I just put it on the shopping cart seat, secured the support belt through the back of the cart, and fastened the clips. Then simply put my baby in, and clipped him in. I love the fact that it has secure shoulder straps, this prevents him from being able to put his head down and put his mouth on the cart.

I had a friend and her daughter visiting last weekend, and when both kids needed to eat at the same time, we put her baby in the high chair, and put my little guy in the Snazzy Baby Travel Chair to feed.

One of the hardest things for us to do when Graham was an infant was to go out to dinner. It seemed like there was so much gear we had to lug around with us. One of those things was a travel chair. It was a nice travel chair, but it was heavy and had to be folded just so. You see, Graham did not like to sit in those restaurant high chairs because the backs were so low. But, if we had known about the Travel Chair we could have lightened our load a bit!

I am wondering why someone did not think of this sooner! It is basically a super padded chair that folds up into a carrying bag. It is all connected so there are no pieces or parts to worry about. The Deluxe Travel Chair converts just about any chair into a high chair constraint system. The Travel Chair also has a non slip bottom so that your little one will be snug and secure! There is a four point restraint system that can be adjusted to fit your child securely.

The Deluxe Travel Chair is also a great idea for shopping carts! Again, Graham would not sit up straight in those carts because of all the extra room. This would have been a solution to us getting rid of the infant car seat on the cart (not to mention, much more safe). When you are done, you simply roll it down into the attached bag, sling it over your shoulder, and hit the road! You can start using the Deluxe Travel Chair from the time your child can sit unsupported until about 37 lbs. The chair itself only weighs 7 ounces!

With so many possibilities, no wonder the My Baby's Own Deluxe Travel Chair won the iParenting Media Award. It is available in 2 colors: Red and Navy and retails for $34.99. This would make an excellent shower gift!

This product was provided free of charge by Snazzy Baby. These are my honest opinions on the product. I do not post reviews on products I can not stand behind. Please see my Terms of Use for more info.
This giveaway has ended. Congratulations to Lori A.

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 259px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_FfJTpsg9TA8/SwBCDA-xwzI/AAAAAAAAABs/O49zDES1eFU/s320/emily-2-low.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5404392172414944050" />
Snazzy Baby Knee Pads For Active Kids
• Related • Filed Under
Visited 405 times, 9 so far today

Snazzy Baby was created by Australian mom Cyndy Mundy after she needed to find a way to protect her active tot’s tender knees from a day of crawling on the carpet.

When I met with Cyndy last month she noticed how active my son was and suggested I may need a pair of her knee pads. I agreed. Because our first floor is a combination hardwood and ceramic, my little guy constantly has bruises on his knees from whipping around.

Snazzy Baby’s knee protectors are great because they have an easy fastening system that can be adjusted as my son grows and Non-slip “traction beads” embossed on to the Neoprene to give him better traction on our slippery floors.

For the longest time he would do the military crawl when crawling on our ceramic floors because he couldn’t get proper traction. Wearing the Snazzy Baby knee pads over his pants has helped him learn how to crawl properly and safely.

I always thought that knee pads for babies was an unnecessary product until my own son developed war wounds from learning how to get around.

They may also come in handy this Spring when my oldest son learns how to ride his bike.

Parents of special needs children will also appreciate that Snazzy Baby knee pads are endorsed by medical professionals and can be used with children with special needs such as hemophilia, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, and muscular dystrophy.

Snazzy Baby’s knee pads are $20.99 or $24.99 with a pair of leg warmers.

Designed for kids from 4 months to 4 years.

Aloha!

Snazzy Baby Travel Chair Giveaway

November 4, 2009 by Kailani
Filed under 2009 Holiday Gift Guide, children, giveaways

125 Comments

This giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to commentor #37: Tracey!

Your home for the best in innovative baby protection products, Snazzy Baby was created by Australian mom Cyndy Mundy who needed to protect her tot’s tender knees after another day of crawling on the carpet. The award-winning company has impressed online and brick and mortar retailers with snug, soft, 4 layer cushioned oval knee pads made of neoprene and secured with velcro straps and ensuring a comfortable fit. iParenting Media Awards have praised each one of their products as they’ve come to market.

OUR REVIEW

We received My Baby’s Own Travel Chair to review and I was very impressed with how compact it is. Everything comes tucked inside an attached pocket (7″ x 5″) for easy storage and transport. It’s also lightly padded for comfort, light weight, and made from a nylon-type material for easy cleaning.

As you can see, HK is pretty secure in there with the shoulder and side straps secured.

However, what I liked best about My Baby’s Own Travel Chair is that when you’re done all you need to do is roll everything up and tuck it inside the attached case. I remember using more bulky high chair/shopping cart covers with my other daughters and it was always a pain to get everything stored when it was time to leave. I would end up just throwing the whole thing into the car and vowed to pack it up properly later. Of course, I never did. In addition, with all the other baby gear that I need to tote along the last thing I need is more bulk.

So, if you’re worried about germs, safety, and portability when dining or shopping with your child, you owe it to yourself to check out My Baby’s Own Travel Chair. It sells for $34.95 from Snazzy Baby.

('http://www.tdmonthly.com/video/toydirectory-video2.asp?clip=1TRADESHOW/ABC09/SnazzyBaby-TravelChair.flv', 'Video',
'width=680, height=640, resizable=yes, toolbar=no, status=no, location=no, scrollbars=yes')" href="javascript:void(0)">Watch TDmonthly Video

This post was written for Snazzy Baby who provided the item for review and giveaway. No need to travel with half your house each family gathering. However, this time around (15 years later) we are the only ones with babies so again we need a small trailer to carry all the kids stuff to each event.

Luckily we now have a Snazzy Baby Travel Chair which has made life so much easier! It can turn an ordinary chair into a temporary restraint system so you can feed your child or use it in a shopping cart instead of using those (disgusting) simple and not-so-safe straps some come with. We use it whenever we go to a restaurant or to someone's home & it has made for some much nicer meals since Jake is safe and secure (aka: not running all over the place).

I didn't mention how incredibly light the Travel Chair is. At 7 ounces and super compact, it fits in any diaper bag easily. I have even just thrown it into my purse and it also has a built in strap so you can just throw it over you shoulder as well. I was worried that something so light would not contain my squirmy child but it did a fabulous job. To see it in action Watch TDmonthly Video .

Snazzy Baby also carries Knee Pads for crawlers and early walkers. While I did not have a chance to review these, they did receive an iParenting Media Award (as did the Travel Chair!). The knee pads are ergonomically designed for flexibility and movement without impacting circulation. Most of our house is covered in carpet but I know most of my friends homes are either tile or wood - these would be a must for a little one in those homes.

Snazzy Baby Comments and News

Snazzy Baby Comments and News

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_FfJTpsg9TA8/SuoPKrWfRRI/AAAAAAAAABM/UB6pLINZSsQ/s320/travel-chair-6-low.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5398143779467117842" />
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 293px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_FfJTpsg9TA8/SuoNBCE5cnI/AAAAAAAAABE/nS7hrdw8-8I/s320/travel-chair-4-low.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5398141414745404018" />

Snazzy Baby{GIVEAWAY}

It’s so easy to use, keeps him upright, comfy and eliminates the use of dirty shopping cart straps. This is so great when going out to eat, visiting family and friends, and traveling. It attaches to the chair in seconds. I had a friend and her daughter visiting last weekend, and when both kids needed to eat at the same time, we put her baby in the high chair, and put my little guy in the Snazzy Baby Travel Chair to feed.

Those are life’s earliest speed bumps. Wouldn’t it be easier, wonder some moms, to just bubble wrap Junior until he attends school? Sadly, little knees scooting across the bare or carpeted floor will get sore but he needn’t get rug burn! Snazzy Baby of Australia has a remedy for that and several other safety situations where ouches and tears can be avoided.

Australia’s award-winning baby safety products come to the States this month as Snazzy Baby launches its award-winning knee pads and travel chair.

The company began with a mom-invented set of knee pads. Snazzy Baby founders Cyndy and Brian Mundy's young son, Lucas, screamed and cried while being bathed, as his rug-burned, red, tender and bruised knees hit the water. That first major developmental milestone – crawling -- had suddenly become a nightmare!

As Cyndy explains, “Our Research and Development team are driven by a strong desire to create products which are safe, fun and easy to use. Our new travel chair is one of our newer products developed by Snazzy Baby based on focus groups with Australian and American moms. We love products that simplify everyday life and allow parents to enjoy every minute of their lives with their baby, doing the things they want to do while ensuring their baby is protected when using our products. We are dedicated to making parents lives easier - Simple, Safe and Snazzy!”

Celebrity moms like Melissa Joan Hart have gotten hold of Snazzy Baby’s innovative items and have gushed about their simplicity and protection. TV’s Brooke Burke wrote via CelebrityChitt.com, “thank you for thinking of Shaya on his first birthday! The knee pads are perfect for our house as he is not yet walking.”

The following safety protection items, designed for on-the-go tots, are available online and at specialty retailers in Australia, Canada and the United States:

My Baby’s Own Travel Chair • $34.99 • Up to 37 lbs
Winner of the iParenting Media Award for Best Baby Gear, this snazzy device turns a shopping cart or an ordinary chair into a temporary restraint system. Unlike other soft portable high chairs, this travel product has a non-slip bottom that grips the surface of any chair allowing baby to sit comfortably without fear of slipping. Parents have peace of mind and this 7 oz. wonder can be tucked into a diaper bag or carried over the shoulder. Choose from two colors: Red or Navy.

I love how small it is and that it is easy to carry around. I like the concept of it and I like that it comes in a lot of different colors. I didn't think it was really going to work but it kept my daughter contained and she was still able to move and that was a plus for me. We first used it at a restaurant in a high chair and it really does work. She was enjoying her dinner and still able to turn but it kept her from standing up. Which she likes to do a lot! I like this for a high chair because typically the high chairs at restaurants only have a thin strap between the legs that moves and then a strap that barely keeps a child contained which allows the child to stand up. With this product it allowed us all to have a pleasant dinner. -- iParenting Media Award reviewers

Snazzy Baby Knee Pads • $19.99 • Ages 4 months. to 4+ years
Winner of the iParenting Media Award for Safety, these little protectors work as well for commando crawlers as for new walkers, running toddlers and even bike riders. The knee pads can be switched to the elbows for extra protection. Choose from 4 snazzy colors: Seafoam, Princess Pink, Starfish Blue or Midnight Blue. Works wonders indoors and out.

These knee pads are ergonomically designed to allow for flexibility and movement without impacting circulation. In addition, Snazzy Baby knee pads are endorsed by medical professionals and can be used with children with special needs such as hemophilia, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, and muscular dystrophy.

The material is sturdy and easily cleaned. My older child (3 years) could put this on herself with a little practice. The colors work for a boy or girl. I think the positive characteristics of the Snazzy Baby Knee Pads are that they are made out of very durable fabric and the knee part is very thick. The knee pads are durable, easy to clean and attractive. This product is excellent for crawling. The knee pads keep the knees of my child's pants clean, and they provide extra traction for crawling. These knee pads were also attractive and fun to use.-- iParenting Media Award reviewers

ABOUT SNAZZY BABY
Your home for the best in innovative baby protection products, Snazzy Baby was created by Australian mom Cyndy Mundy who needed to protect her tot’s tender knees after another day of crawling on the carpet. The award-winning company has impressed online and brick and mortar retailers with snug, soft, 4 layer cushioned oval knee pads made of neoprene and secured with velcro straps and ensuring a comfortable fit. iParenting Media Awards have praised each one of their products as they’ve come to market.

For more information on all of Snazzy Baby’s safety products, visit their new U.S. website at www.SnazzyBaby.us.

Born to impress

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 213px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_FfJTpsg9TA8/Sub2xhuc_-I/AAAAAAAAAAs/bJkF1_kyEBg/s320/leg-warmers-7-low.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5397272534177349602" />
Sunday, October 18, 2009
Snazzy Baby Knee Pads- Review and Giveaway.
http://kidzborn2impress.blogspot.com/2009/10/snazzy-baby-knee-pdas-review-and.html

When the ladybug started to crawl, there was no her and she was all over the place. I couldn’t believe how fast she could go from one side of the room to the other side! I loved watching her cruise, but there was one thing that used to bug me and that was that her little knees would get really red and sensitive.
Snazzy Baby is a great solution for when the little bugs are learning how to crawl and you want to prevent them from getting redness, grazes, cuts, rashes, rug burns and all the fun stuff that comes along with the bugs learning how to move around. The really nice thing is that they can use them inside and outside, and once they know how to crawl, they still can use them to play in the park and protect their little knees, in my case I am planning to put them on the bug for her bike riding lessons!
What is Snazzy baby you might ask? , well they are really colorful and cute knee pads for the little ones, this iParenting Media award winner is truly a must have for moms with little kids that are concerned about their little ones getting hurt while in the process of crawling.
The pads are really easy to put on making the whole protection process very simple and hassle free, the protective cushioning developed to ensure your baby does not feel artificially propped up when crawling. The knee pads features Non-slip traction beads embossed on to the Neoprene enhances traction and allows a comfortable stretch.
Easy and simplified fastening system to ensure proper fitting every time, even though I have not started the bike riding lesson for the bug I put the pads on to see how they fit and I have to say that they fit perfectly and stay securely in place.
I received the Pink Pizzaz Leg Warmers and Knee pads and I love the colors and the way it looks on the lady bug, I even get to use the legwarmer by itself as a really cute accessory for the bug, not to mention that she is even more protected while using both the leg warmers and the knee pads. Another really neat thing about the Snazzy Baby Knee pad is that you can use them on the baby’s elbows as well!
These are the features for the Snazzy Baby knee pads:

• Easy and simplified fastening system to ensure proper fitting every
time
• Ergonomically designed to safely give your child greater flexibility and
movement
• Improved so that children can wear for a long period of time, from 4+
months up to age 4+ years
• Use for Commando Crawling, Crawling, Toddling, Walking, Running,
Bike Riding, Ball Sports, Playground Activities
• The special design of these Knee Pads can also allow you to use these
as protectors for your baby 's elbows
• Indoors or outdoors, all floor surfaces, babies and young children can
crawl safely and properly - no red sore knees, no bruises, no scraped
knees, and no rug burn
• Soft, durable and machine washable
• Ultimate protection from Medical Quality Neoprene
• Non-slip " traction beads " embossed on to the Neoprene enhances
traction and allows a comfortable stretch
• Gives your child maximum protection without restricting movement
and circulation
• Prevents wear and tear on clothing
• Snazzy Baby 's Award winning products do not contain Azo Dyes,
Phthalates or Bisphenol-A and are formaldehyde free

Understanding the New Legislation on Childrens Products

Dear Snazzy Baby Customer: As many of you know there is a new law, primarily conceived to protect children, that has created a stringent set of guidelines relating to products used for children under age 12. The law is very complex, and untangling it and understanding it in layman’s terms is daunting. The new legislation is on all children products and in many categories. I want to assure you that we have been aware of the intentions of this new legislation for some time. One of the requirements of the new law involves limits on the levels of Lead and Phthalates in children products. Last year I decided to be proactive and to start the tests that the law requires before it became necessary in order to give us peace of mind .I wanted to be sure we were already making Snazzy Baby products that were within these guidelines.We tested our products for the Lead and Phthalates and all our products were well below the guidelines issued by the government. We want you to know that we are in compliance with the CPSC for our products for 2009 customers. I want you to know that we at Snazzy Baby take the safety and well-being of children very seriously. For years we have worked hard to produce products for children that are useful and unique for the Moms of Today. But most importantly is our commitment to only offer to the market place the highest standards of quality and safety in our products.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Over the last few months we have noticed a number of unauthorized Internet sellers of Snazzy Baby products . In some cases these were counterfeit ( Knock off Products ) which we are very concerned about. Our concerns are that these Knock off products may not have been tested to our stringent quality control standards. We also have serious questions about those materials used as they may not comply with the Newest Safety Standards issued by the CPSC with regards to Various Type of Chemicals no longer allowed to be used . All Snazzy Baby Products manufactured by Snazzy Baby fully comply with the Safety Standards issued by the CPSC and other countries safety standards These Knock off products do not come with the Snazzy Baby workmanship guarantee so no warranty will be in effect for them. We ask that you only purchase Snazzy Baby Products from authorised dealers or distributors . Our dealers & distributors work very hard to provide you with the highest standard of customer service in our industry. Please review our web site www.snazzybaby.us or www.snazzybaby.com.au for a list of our authorized dealers & distributors. If you have any questions please call our customer service dept at 1-866-418-3845 or 978-471-9523 in the USA to 1300 650 115 for Australia. That first major developmental milestone had suddenly become a nightmare!
Snazzy Baby Knee Pads have allowed parents to enjoy their babies, no longer having to worry if their baby is crawling “properly” on any floor surface or asking themselves, “What do we do with our baby when we want to be outdoors?” Little children with special needs around the world are now able to explore floor surfaces and get the right amount of traction to get up on their knees.
Our Research and Development team are driven by a strong desire to create products which are safe, fun and easy to use. Our new ‘Mom’s Deluxe 3 in 1 Plus Combo Carrier’ and ‘ My Baby’s Own Deluxe Travel Chair’ are two of our new products developed by Snazzy Baby.
Snazzy Baby products are available through a worldwide network of distributors and retailers. Snazzy Baby is committed to developing and sourcing products designed to safely protect precious babies. We love products which simplify everyday life and allow parents to enjoy every minute of their lives with their baby, doing the things they want to do while ensuring their baby is protected when using our products. We are dedicated to making parents lives easier - Simple, Safe and Snazzy!

I have to say that these knee pads are the neatest things I have ever seen. I do wish these had been available with my first four children. We have hard ceramic tile floor and I always felt horrible that my children had to crawl on that. With these knee pads I do believe my son was happy. I did video tape him wearing the knee pads but unfortunately that video was deleted by accident so you are seeing a very good friend’s son demonstrating how he loves these knee pads. As you can see, he doesn’t seem to mind wearing them at all. I did notice that if your child is extremely chunky then the knee pads have to be adjusted but other then that there are not problems at all. They are priced extremely well and would make an awesome baby shower gift for any expecting mom to be. This carrier is designed to use with babies from 4 months to age 2. The multi-purpose light weight action hip carrier allows you to choose which position is best for your baby – facing you or facing outwards and ride on either hip. It also includes new soft gel inserts that were designed with Mom in mind to provide long use comfort for parents, with state of the art ergonomically designed straps, that allow for additional comfort to reduce back and shoulder strain or discomfort. This great company also provides a portable highchair feature that turns an ordinary chair into a temporary high chair restraint system as well as handy clips and storage pockets for your convenience. At first use of this fabulous carrier, I could tell that it was designed with mom's comfort and convenience in mind. It was extremely light-weight making it more about carrying your baby than a bulky carrier. I love all of the storage options too. There is no doubt that the Snazzy Baby 3-in-1 Carrier will make life much easier for moms everywhere!Reviewed by Melissa, Baby Kid Contributor, From Melissa's Desk

http://www.coolbabykid.com/search/label/Giveaways

Hip Mamas Place

Tuesday, June 3, 2008

A Roundup of Great Products From Snazzybaby
Snazzybaby.us products are definitely useful things that make everyday life simple, allowing us parents to enjoy every moment with our precious babies. made me wish they were bigger. I wanted to try these out when I found out about them. My son isn’t walking yet, but I’m not worried about him, he’s only one. It’s about to be summer and shorts will be necessary so I thought we could use these.

Knee Pads are great for babies that are crawling. It allows them to be able to crawl outside on any surface. They won’t scrape their knees and inside on the carpet. My children get carpet burn, but now he won’t.

I want to be completely honest, I figured I’d be writing a negative review. They looked so cheap from the picture I saw of them. I was wrong. I love to admit I’m wrong when it is in favor of the company. These are amazing. They are soft, extremely soft. My two year old loves them. She just adores wearing them around her wrists. They are easy to put on. She can put them on herself, and my son can’t get them off yet but give him time. They are colorful. They come in three shades of Blue and Pink.

One negative, just one, my chubby one year old complains after a while and he wants them off. I think they are just a tad small. That’s my opinion though. I can’t read his mind, which would be really fun. I would love to know what he’s thinking about. He might just be upset because there is something different. He’s going to thin out as he gets older and since these are meant to be used up to four years old, I’m sure we’re going to get a lot of use out of them.

I recommend getting some. You can use the coupon code “SPRING09” to receive 5.00 off of any order placed. He is just starting to learn how to crawl--right now he gets up on his knees, rocks back and forth, and then his knees will slip right from under him on our slick hardwood floors. We also have concrete and scratchy pavement outside, so I've been putting Mr. Bean in pants while we are outside. The only thing is, he keeps scuffing up his pants and soon they'll be worn thin at the knees.

I saw these knee pads by Snazzy Baby and I knew I had to try them out (er, I mean have Mr. Bean give them a whirl).
